JoJo Siwa is reflecting on her private journey with popping out as a part of the LGBTQ+ neighborhood, however has some regrets.
In a latest interview with the Daily Mail’s YOU Magazine, Siwa opened up about her popping out story as a teenager, saying that she initially described herself as pansexual, which is outlined as being interested in individuals regardless of gender or sexuality. At 22, Siwa expressed some remorse over defining herself.
“When I got here out at 17, I stated: ‘I’m pansexual, as a result of I don’t care [about gender].’ However then I form of boxed myself in and I stated: ‘I’m a lesbian.’ And I believe I did that due to stress,” Siwa stated.
Siwa began opening up about her sexuality in 2021 when she was 17 after she wore a “Greatest Homosexual Cousin Ever” shirt, leaving followers to take a position that she was queer. Initially, she did not have a solution about her identification and as an alternative stated, “The rationale I am not going to say this reply is as a result of I do not actually know this reply.” Siwa later made her purple carpet debut along with her girlfriend on the time, Kylie Prew.
However now, Siwa, who’s now relationship former Superstar Huge Brother co-star Chris Hughes, stated that a lot of the stress she felt got here from “contained in the [LGBTQ] neighborhood at occasions.”
